For buyers
Understand the report.
Know what to ask next.
A Pruve it condition report brings a seller’s answers and photos together so you can review an item before deciding what to do next. You can open a shared report without an account.
How a report is created
- The seller starts with their item. They add a photo and item details. Optional AI assistance can suggest an item description and category to help start the guided questions. The seller reviews and can correct those suggestions.
- Guidance helps them document it. Questions and photo prompts are tailored to the item category. The seller records observations, known issues, included items, and relevant history. Anything they haven’t checked can remain unknown.
- The seller reviews and publishes. They check their answers and photos, confirm their statements, and publish a report to share alongside a listing or in a message. Saving a private draft alone does not publish it.
Pruve it organizes what the seller supplies. Neither Pruve it nor its AI inspects, authenticates, or certifies the item. A photo-based suggestion does not establish its specifications, condition, safety, or ownership.
What to look for in a report
- Item identity
- Check the make, model, size, configuration, and other supplied details against the item you’re considering. Missing details should stay unknown.
- Condition & evidence
- Read the observations and their scope, including reported issues. Open the linked photos and look through Photos & videos. A recorded result applies to what the seller describes, rather than every possible fault.
- Included in the sale
- Check which parts and accessories are included. Something appearing in a photo does not automatically mean it comes with the item.
- Details & history
- Review the supplied specifications, use, repairs, or maintenance. Ask the seller about information that matters to your decision and is missing.
- Coverage & source
- “Not assessed,” “not checked,” and missing information do not mean the item passed or failed. A linked photo or video does not by itself complete a check or show every requested view. “Seller reviewed” means the seller confirmed their statements; it does not mean independent verification.
A report is a starting point for your own questions and inspection. Confirm the item’s present condition and any important details with the seller before buying. A report does not provide a warranty or guarantee a transaction.
Publication dates and versions
A published report is a snapshot of what the seller shared. Private edits do not change that snapshot until the seller publishes an update. The main shared link opens the current published revision; a revision-specific link opens that particular version. Publication history lets you review published changes.
The report’s date is not the date of every individual check. An item’s condition can change after the report is prepared. Downloaded or printed copies do not update automatically.
The Pruve it report format and question-set versions describe the structure and questions used. They are separate from the seller’s published revisions and do not indicate a condition rating or certification.
If the seller withdraws a report, its shared pages and photos become unavailable through the service. Copies already downloaded, printed, or captured by someone else may still exist.
Shared links and privacy
Anyone who has a published report link can open it without signing in and may pass it on. A shared report is not a private conversation. Sellers should only publish information and photos they intend to share with buyers.
Opening a report sends ordinary browser request information to the hosting service so it can deliver the page and its photos. For information about this marketing website, invitation requests, or contacting us, read our website privacy notice.
